What is in the Name?

The name of Russell Hill Capital came from the street I grew up on in Toronto, Russell Hill Road. It is nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. Although the street runs for only about 1.5 miles, it represents many important memories in my upbringing. The towering trees provide a canopy of greenery, casting dappled shadows on the sidewalk during sunny afternoons, when I enjoyed cherished time walking down with my family. The tranquil and communal atmosphere, echoing the laughter of children playing, often reminds me of the time when hockey superstar Mats Sundin casually rolled down and joined our ball hockey games on the street. This communal sense is what I am also looking to bring to Russell Hill Capital.
